Genco Method Neurologic Approach to Coaching

Taking Beyond Polyvagal Theory

The polyvagal theory (PVT) describes the capacity and how the central nervous system influences the autonomic nervous system and its adaptive reactivity to the environment. PVT emphasizes the different parts of the nervous system and their impact on the human system as parasympathetic and sympathetic.

In the Part 2 section of the Genco Method Neurologic Approach to Coaching, we focus on nervous system functionality, understand the PVT, and take the understanding beyond PVT, incorporating the distinctions, definitions, and human system responses to the outer world that are synthesized and developed by Tijen Genco to understand and devise change strategies to the human reactivity to the external world in a coaching conversation.
