Tijen has served on the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Philadelphia Chapter board as the VP of Education and Professional Development. She is an approved continuing education provider for ICF. She provides Mentor Coaching and lectures in the academic environment.
Tijen developed a unique methodology of incorporating mindfulness and neuroscience into behavioral change. She utilizes this methodology for cultural transformation and behavioral change coaching in the healthcare industry by enabling desired behaviors toward better health. Tijen participates in social responsibility efforts such as supporting cancer patients to improve their health. In 2013, Tijen served 3 months in India to enhance the quality of Maternal Health services in rural areas, coaching across complex sponsoring organizations and social workers.

- A Fortune 100 company’s CIO struggled to align his communication style with the company’s inclusive leadership principles. The client and I worked to calibrate his behavior to the corporation’s core values. Our work significantly improved the client’s year-end feedback in inclusive and collaborative leadership.
- The General Attorney of a bank had a challenge with managing, motivating, and harmonizing a global team of individuals across multiple backgrounds and cultures. She was recognized for the annual leadership award after six months of coaching engagement.,
- The CFO of a Fortune 100 manufacturing company lacked emotional intelligence, impacting his ability to collaborate. We worked together to develop his emotional intelligence, ability to inspire and motivate others, win-win negotiation, and collaboration. His CEO and HRBP saw the results after three sessions for a six-month engagement.
- A Hospital Director of the Veterans Affairs Organization was just appointed to his position and needed to be onboarded to the C-Suite leadership behaviors. The leader was used to being hands-on and struggling to shift the behavior.
