Master Class: In-Depth ACC BARS Training for Coach’s Self-Development or Mentorship
Genco Coaching’s comprehensive training on ACC BARS is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of the content and application of ACC BARS—the assessment tool used by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) to determine coach credentialing at the ACC level. This training is open to anyone who has completed their coach training and wishes to learn more about how ICF Core Competencies are behaviorally demonstrated at the ACC level, whether they intend to strengthen their own credentialing submission or support others in preparing theirs.
Integrating the Comprehensive Coaching Taxonomy
To support participants in developing a more nuanced, lineage‑aligned understanding of coaching behaviors, this course now references Tijen Genco’s book, Comprehensive Coaching Taxonomy.
The book provides a developmental map that complements ACC BARS by illuminating the underlying human processes, relational dynamics, and behavioral expressions that shape coaching presence and the demonstration of competency.
Participants often find that the Taxonomy deepens their ability to:
- Recognize behavioral evidence with greater clarity
- Understand the developmental roots of coaching behaviors
- Offer more grounded, non‑directive feedback
- Integrate ACC BARS within a broader coaching‑development framework
You may explore the book here: Comprehensive Coaching Taxonomy.
