Who This Program Is For
If you are committed to coaching excellence and want to mentor others with clarity and confidence, this program will meet you where you are—and stretch you into who you are becoming. It is highly recommended for:
- Credentialed practitioners seeking rigorous education toward the new ICF Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS).
- Coaches preparing to mentor others or enhance their existing mentoring practice.
- Coach educators, assessors, and faculty.
- MCC‑level practitioners seeking a fresh, high-resolution lens for their work.
- Practitioners who want to refine their ability to “see the thing benenath the thing™” and enhance their evaluative mastery.
Program Essence & Real Practice
This training is a taxonomy‑anchored immersion into the ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies. Rather than teaching competencies in isolation, this program helps you see, map, and develop coaching behaviors through a coherent, evidence-based lens.
Within a supportive, high-trust environment, you will evaluate recordings, practice giving evocative feedback, and engage in structured conversations. You will learn to mentor in a way that is:
- Attuned to the uniqueness of each coach.
- Pattern‑based and evidence‑anchored.
- Strengths‑focused and precise.
- Aligned with the foundational ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies.
Modules & Learning Outcomes
Each module blends instruction, discussion, practice, and mapping using the proprietary Genco Method™ Comprehensive Coaching Taxonomy. By the end of this 10-hour experience, participants will begin to map coaching behaviors across ACC → PCC → MCC, model masterful presence, and hold a stance that honors the mentee’s agency.
