Taking Beyond Polyvagal Theory – Level 1

Within the Genco Method Neurologic approach, we understand that a client’s ability to change requires them to feel safe in the world, knowing that the client’s executive function and self-regulation would be undesirably impacted by their response in a state that is locked to feeling unsafe for whatever reason. Genco Method Neurologic Applications to Coaching© is a unique methodology and includes a particular coaching inquiry that leverages the insights from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NLP, Polyvagal Theory applications in coaching, and Eastern Esoteric Traditions to foster change availability for the client by creating awareness for their automatic (reactive) responses to the world around them.

Part 1 of this Genco Method Neurological Coach Training focuses on Cognitive Distortions and NLP. Part 2 will focus on Polyvagal Theory. Although participants can take these four-week focused pieces of training separately, we recommend they take them in order.

In the Part 2 section of the Genco Method Neurologic Approach to Coaching, we focus on nervous system functionality, understand the PVT and take the understanding beyond PVT, incorporating the distinctions, definitions, and human system responses to the outer world that are synthesized and developed by Tijen Genco. Tijen ties her knowledge in medical electronics as an Electronics Engineer, evidenced-based methods used in health and wellness coaching as well as her esoteric modalities as a yoga and meditation teacher to explain nervous system mapping via her methodology of Genco Method Nervous System Functional Response Scale for Self-Expression©, Genco Method Autonomic Response to Perceived Reality© and Genco Method Autonomic Nervous System Regulatory Interruption (GMANSRI)© and Choice Making.
