2.1 Wellbeing Coaching

For Wellbeing Coaching, I offer the following services:

  • Health and Wellness Coaching: These sessions are geared towards the individual’s overall well-being in conjunction with their goals or the recommendations of their healthcare practitioner. Complex ailments such as cancer, heart disease, etc., require a substantial amount of change and adaptability in one’s life. These sessions benefit the patients while undergoing treatment, preparing for the surgery, adjusting to life after surgery, etc.
  • Somatic Coaching: Somatic coaching is a significant tool that brings the body-mind connection into the coaching conversation. A somatic approach to coaching enables coaches to observe clients holistically during coaching conversations and encourages clients to do the same. Soma comes from the Greek word for body. The role and power of the body are often ignored in conventional coaching conversations. Somatic coaching combines the body’s intelligence with the client’s sensory experience to devise a strategy for change. In this process, the client embodies new practices to create a body of action.
  • Mind-Body Coaching/ Sessions: Boutique sessions customized to the client’s needs for mindfulness practices, such as yoga, Pilates and meditations.

What to Expect in Wellbeing Coaching Sessions?

First, you’ll have an introductory session with your life coach or wellness coach over the phone or in person. The sessions will range from 10 to 20 minutes. During that time, you’ll discuss what you want to accomplish through this engagement.

After that, your regular coaching sessions will start, varying in length from 45 to 120 minutes. Through the questions your coach asks, together you’ll define your goals and potential challenges that could stand in your way. Then you’ll outline the steps you’ll need to take to achieve those goals.
