Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means vortex or wheel. There are seven major chakra (energy) centers in the human body. These energy centers regulate the flow of energy in our system based on the choices we make. How well the chakra center’s function depends on how well our choices are in alignment with our true nature and with the overall harmonic flows of the universe. In other words, the chakra centers reflect the way we view and experience the world around us. Our choices about how we feel about our life experiences are registered in these centers. This may then inhibit or enhance our experience of life based on how we view our life.
Very frequently, during my client conversations, I notice how much fear is embedded into our systems. Fear often creates breath-disabled spaces in our system. One significant place this takes place is the heart chakra. When one is operating out of fear; they cannot operate out of joy or cannot exchange love properly. Unfortunately, we must choose one or the other. These energies do not mingle. Although some people seek thrilling activities to have fun, what they are really doing is to utilize adrenaline rush excitement out of fear as a substitute of joy.
Fear can also create breath-disabled spaces in the 1st and 2nd chakras. You can learn to express yourself via worries and fears through your 2nd chakra if that was modeled for you by the immediate caretakers while growing up. 2nd chakra is a template for our creativity, our ability to express ourselves creatively. If the choices are made as young beings to utilize fear as a survival mechanism or your caretakers paid attention to you when you were fearful and worrisome, you would then learn to use fear as your core driver to accomplish things as well as to establish intimate relationships. If this is a pattern for you, you may scan your relationships to see if they are feeding fear in some ways, by engaging you to make you feel your fear, or engaging you to make them feel their fear. Either way, you are in the “fear zone”. Once you realize this and decide to change your core accomplishment driver from fear to joy or any other energy that agrees with you, then you will notice that your relationships might change too.
Now, let us have a look at how to get off fear or worry train and get onto something else. This may be a challenging shift. It often takes a warrior-like awareness, stamina, as well as gentleness, care, and compassion towards self. And it may take time…Obviously, coaching conversations are often helpful for establishing a new behavior.
I also have an upcoming guided meditation session that you might find helpful as you shift your operating system from fear into joy. You may find further information about that here.
May you feel the courage to fill your heart with joy and to make your actions joy-full…
